Since I feel it is very important to further the discussion on this issue, I'm pulling a link from the comments section and posting it here, even though I generally prefer to keep the comments in the comment section. At the Moderate Voice, Joe Gandelman addresses Putin's actions. I don't see 100% eye to eye with Joe, but I think now is the best time to debate this before sides are taken by political default.
