You've heard
the news by now: Russ Feingold will not be running for the presidency in 2008. Two questions come to mind for me immediately. The first is, did the failure of Ned Lamont in Connecticut and the general success of moderate Democrats play into this decision? The other is, since Russ had pegged himself as the anti-war candidate, does this mean that he doesn't think there will be a war to be against in 2008?
