Coop!

Alice Cooper on Rock & Politics (hat tip to The Corner):
"If you're listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you're a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Because we're morons. We sleep all day, we play music at night and very rarely do we sit around reading the Washington Journal."

Couldn't have said it any better.

Not quite the same, but somewhat similar... I was listening to NPR and the program featured a gentleman (I think he was with moveon.org) that showed in their "studies" how people were moved to change their opinion in the presidential election. Now, politics and political affiliations aside... isn't it frightening to think that there are people out there who will be moved to vote one way or another because it was "as seen on tv?" YIKES!
