What's Civil War Got To Do With It

I was reading this article at Reuters about Saddam's first wife and eldest daughter being on the Iraqi government's new most wanted list when I came upon this line:

The carnage, by far the worst since Zarqawi was killed on June 7, has raised the prospect of sectarian civil war.

The commentary was a little out of place in the context of the article's main point. I am now going to immitate every article on Iraq that is put out by the news services.

The increase in the number of operable cars is likely due to the fact that more replacement parts are being imported into Iraq now than they were during the Saddam Hussein era.
