This is representative of the Churchill supporters. I'm not saying all of them can remember the 60's (actually, none of them probably remember much about the 60's), but a good number of them very well could have watched the 1969 World Series. Another thing to note. At the bottom of this sign, it says [The right wing]. This isn't really an issue which should break down into left v. right. It is symbollic of the crumbling of the Democratic party that the protestors felt it did. They even felt the need to chant "fascists" during the vigil.
