No respect

I'm noticing a number of bloggers complaining about their laptops lately. Most of them are using Dells or Toshibas. I have a nifty, extremely light Dell laptop for work, but I don't think I'd trade it for my heavier, older eMachines M5105. Outside of two poorly constructed hinge covers, I haven't had one problem with the machine in the year and a half I've had it, and it has received heavy use. I know eMachines isn't a "cool" brand, but this baby has been a heck of a trooper. I think it's time to pay the Gateway/eMachines brands a little respect.
