That Rehnquist is a card

I casually followed the rumors today of an impending Rehnquist retirement, the announcement of which never occured. I'm amused by all of the sources that were wrong. Now, if I had written on the topic, I wouldn't find it nearly as amusing as I do. But I do, and I hope the ailing Chief Justice had a good chuckle over it as well. I'd really enjoy it if he was intentionally having fun with us all.
