Blogs to webzines

There was a lot of buzz yesterday around the blogosphere about bloggers re-identifying their sites as web magazines in order to fit within the FEC latest "campaign finance" regulation. I had the idea of doing a weekly print out and distributing for free or a nickel earlier this year when all of this first arose, but I don't like "fitting in" to things. I've changed my mind. Jiblog will remain a blog. And I'll say whatever I damn well choose, even if there are political ads in my sidebar. I'm currently averaging about 500 visitors a week. I'd love to see the FEC try to go after a schlub like me. They'd only end up with mud on their faces.
