Were Were Soldiers is one of the best war movies ever made, period. I just finished watching it for the umpteenth time tonight, and my reaction was the same as it was the very first time-a number of emotions swirling about until the names of the dead are listed at the end of the movie, at which point it feels as though someone hit me in the chest with a cinder block.
