I'm about all bird flu'd out, but I can never get enough of oral histories. Reuters has an
interesting little story about the Spanish flu, "La Grippe", of 1918-1919. A lot of money is being spent right now to come up with plans for a bird flu outbreak. Some of that money should be used to research and learn from these personal histories of "the grip." Any plan based off of that will be much more effective than one without.
