Grothman for Senate

Boots & Sabers is reporting that Wisconsin State Senator Glenn Grothman is going to run against Herb Kohl for U.S. Senate. I know that there was some talk that letting Kohl run unopposed would free up Democrat money to go to the Governor's race, but personally, I think this will be little more than a waste of Republican monies and efforts at this stage. I'm sure Glenn is a great guy, but Kohl and the Democrats are really not going to need to devote very many resources at all to beating him this fall.
