Tonight the lovely Mrs. Jib and I dined on some baked chicken that she made from scratch. She is an excellent cook, but there was something seriously wrong with this chicken (not her cooking). We both braved our way through one hot but excessively slimy and bloody piece. I'm pretty sure we both faked our way throught he second piece (at least I did). After that, we agreed that the chicken just wasn't right and ditched the rest of it.
Logic says that any salmonella was cooked dead. Still, I've never had chicken that gross. If this blog goes dark for 72 hours or so, you can thank the chicken. If it goes dark permanently, you may want to get some Tamiflu, because it's here.
Okay, I've got to go now...my stomach is clucking.
