The revival of the military dissent story

Remember the 6 Generals? The ones who came out a few months back as opposed to the Iraq War and plans, and who asked for the resignation of Donald Rumsfeld? That military dissent storyline will be coming back this month with the release of Fiasco: The American Military Adventure in Iraq by Washington Post reporter Thomas Ricks. Expect the Post to support Ricks with some front page stories. Before we get to that point though, before the rhetoric begins to muddy the waters on the issue, make sure you read this column by Jed Babbin, and stow it away for when the words begin to fly. Babbin's column lays out the situation nicely, and his points will play nicely in the coming debate.
