Final Statements

Kerry: Starts by defending himself from the global test gaffe. He really wants the glow of Reagan and Eisenhower-it won't work. This is a little flat so far. He's staying on message, but his message is already getting old. With a flat voice, he says "I'm an optomist".

Bush: Bush has been on his game tonight. Right now he is talking to America in his way, that homey way that Americans believe-at least most of us. It is like a simpler fireside chat. Good conclusion with Freedom.

I appreciate your account. Since I'm at work and have to watch it taped, I enjoyed seeing your comments. Good job.

Packers aren't all that bad.
