They said no blood for cheap oil. Gas is now over $2 a gallon
They said Cheney was profiteering for Halliburton with the no bid contracts. Halliburton lost $44 million last quarter.
They said you can't spread democracy at the point of a gun. Afghanistan just held their first elections.
The say we are a unilateral hegemony. We have over 30 allies in Iraq.
They said that fighting Muslims would only create many more terrorists. There hasn't been an attack on the homeland since 2001.
They say John Kerry will wage a better, smarter, more sympathetic War on Terror. Why do you still believe them?

Who are the 30 allies, and what are their roles in the global political scenario?
Let's start with permanent members of the UN Security Council. How about the G-7 or G-8.
How about the number of troops they have sent? How about what kind of help did those 30 countries provide? How many heads of those 30 countries are in a position to lose their leadership come re-election time?
How many of those allies are blackmailed and forced into being listed as an ally because they have tremendous aid from the US?
Not on the homeland, but how about the people fighting abroad?
They are targeting not only America, but also Americans, and now, anyone supporting America. Not a good sign.
A leader who has not been able to execute his or her plan has to step down or has to be removed from their position.
In this situation, it is more important that we change the leadership than worry about the new leader. The current leader and his colleagues/advisors have done enough wrong to get a 'You're fired' notice.
Change must come.
Col. Ollie - I was just responding to the point about 30 or so allies. This whole thing about counting our allies is so overstated and overrated.
None of our allies, except England, seem to have any say in world politics. The bigwigs have stayed out, and want to stay out because of the way we have conducted the damn war. The same ones who have stayed away were with us through it all in Afghanistan.
Yes, we need a united army, navy, marines, etc., but we need to protect our homeland at home, not away.
The only way the current 'rulers' of this country will understand it is if they are removed from power.
The only way.
