The draft bill is dead. Go scare monger elsewhere for a while. Maybe work a little younger next time-tell 5 year olds the Republicans are going to steal their candy and hurt there mommy & daddy. It won't help you this year like the draft rumor would, but hey, come 2020, you guys will be set.

It's a good thing that it is dead, for the kids who are 16 and 17 years old. And their parents and their families.
But you know what? If the Republican agenda of conquering the world (or "liberating" it) is allowed to live on for 4 more years (and maybe many more after that), we may need not only the 18 year olds, but maybe even younger.
Let's hope things change by the end of the year and we have a responsible President who knows what to do and can think. Not W.
Col Ollie, you still keep harping on the fact that they voted for the liberation. First of all, they did not vote for liberation because that's not what was told to them.
The voted because the President convinced them that there is a connection between Osama and Saddam. They voted because the President told them that there were WMD's there.
The President lied. To them. To the Nation. They were victims of lies, not flip floppers.
You righties have an unusual knack of taking one part of some sentence said by one of these candidates, and twisting it out of context and repeating yourselves over and over again. Till you brainwash the American public and convince them about yet another dishonesty.
Shame on you.
So that's what it has come down to. Fooling the people.
It's not about John and John being weak. It's about W being inept and being a liar. He should not have gone to war without scrutinizing the reports and making absolutely sure that there is a connection.
And even then, he should not have gone to war alone. He should have made sure America is not in a minority. The so-called coalition is a joke. Most of the G7/G8 countries were not a part of it. Smaller countries like Costa Rica and Poland were, but frankly, it was just because they receive American aid, and they could not refuse.
John and John are the best choices for a good American future. They need to set the record straight after W has undone all the good, like a naughty child, of the last 8 years.
George W Bush cannot lead America anymore. He should be voted out.
