It's going to be a depressing day in Titletown when number 4 isn't slinging touchdown passes anymore. I've watched this guy do so many phenomenal things in his career, and today he just added to his legend, getting his egg scrambled good, then re-inserting himself two plays later on a 4th and 5, only to toss a 28 yard TD. I feel sorry for the poor bastard that takes over as the starting quarterback of the Packers the season after Brett decides he's going to hang up the cleats in exchange for his riding lawn mower in Mississippi.

Yea, I feel sorry for the backup. The comparisons are going to be inevitable. Begs a question - would you rather be a pathetic player and yet be a starter because of no talent in a team, or be a decent player being a backup to a legend?
